Responsible Gaming

At dew212, player safety comes first. We provide a comprehensive suite of self-control tools to help you enjoy betting and gaming as safe, balanced entertainment — never as a source of harm.

21+ ONLY – Adults Only

Our Player Protection Commitments

Six foundational principles that guide every decision we make at dew212

Strict Age Verification

Every account undergoes mandatory KYC verification to confirm that all players are at least 21 years of age. Underage gambling is zero-tolerance at dew212 — accounts found in breach are immediately closed.

Self-Exclusion Available

Players who feel gambling is becoming a problem can self-exclude for periods ranging from 1 month to permanent exclusion. Self-exclusion requests are honoured immediately, with no delays or friction.

Deposit & Loss Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to control how much you stake. Once set, limits can only be lowered immediately; increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period before they take effect.

Session Time Limits

Control the duration of your gaming sessions. Set a maximum session length, and dew212 will automatically log you out when your time is up. Reality-check reminders pop up every 30, 60, or 90 minutes as you choose.

24/7 Support Access

Our Indonesian-speaking support team is available around the clock, every day of the year. If you feel you need help, reach out by email at [email protected] — no question is off-limits.

No Predatory Marketing

We do not send promotional emails to self-excluded players or to players who have opted out of marketing. We do not pressure anyone to play, and we never glamorise gambling losses as "near wins."

Recognise the Warning Signs

Gambling becomes a problem when it interferes with your life, relationships, or financial stability. You may be experiencing problem gambling if you:

  • Spend more time or money on gambling than you intended or can afford
  • Feel the need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to experience the same excitement
  • Have unsuccessfully tried to cut down or stop gambling on your own
  • Feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to reduce your gambling
  • Gamble to escape problems, relieve stress, or improve your mood
  • Chase losses — returning the next day to try to win back money you lost
  • Lie to family, friends, or your employer about the extent of your gambling
  • Risk or lose important relationships, jobs, or opportunities because of gambling
  • Borrow money or sell possessions to fund gambling when you have run out of funds

If two or more of these statements describe your behaviour, we strongly encourage you to use the self-exclusion or cooling-off tools below, and to contact our support team for guidance.

Understanding Problem Gambling

Problem gambling — also known as gambling disorder or compulsive gambling — is a recognised behavioural condition characterised by an inability to control gambling behaviour despite negative personal, financial, or social consequences. It affects individuals across all age groups, income levels, and cultural backgrounds, and in Indonesia, where sports betting, casino games, lottery (togel), and cockfighting (sabung ayam) are popular forms of entertainment, awareness of problem gambling is growing.

At dew212, we understand that gambling is intended to be a recreational activity — a way to add excitement to watching football, playing slots, or testing your luck in a live casino. When gambling ceases to be fun and starts to create stress, debt, or harm, it has crossed into problem territory. Recognising this early and taking action is the most effective way to regain control.

Research shows that problem gambling is treatable. Many players successfully regain control through a combination of self-imposed limits, temporary breaks, counselling, and peer support. The first step is acknowledgment. The second step is reaching out — whether to a trusted friend, a professional counsellor, or our support team at dew212.

Take Control with Our Player Protection Tools

Every tool listed below is available immediately through your account settings or by contacting support

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion allows you to voluntarily close your account for a specified period, during which you will not be able to log in, place bets, or access any dew212 services. You can choose exclusion periods of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or permanent exclusion. Once activated, a self-exclusion cannot be reversed until the exclusion period has fully elapsed. To activate self-exclusion, email [email protected] with "Self-Exclusion Request" in the subject line and specify your preferred exclusion duration. We will confirm activation within 24 hours.

Cooling-Off / Time-Out

If you feel you need a short break but are not ready for full self-exclusion, use our cooling-off tool to temporarily suspend your account for 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, or 7 days. Unlike self-exclusion, cooling-off periods can be ended early if you contact support — but we strongly encourage you to let the full period elapse. This is a useful tool if you have had a particularly heavy session or if you need time to reassess your gambling habits. Activate a cooling-off period directly in your account settings under "Responsible Gaming."

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your dew212 account over a 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day period. Once your deposit limit is reached, you will not be able to add more funds until the next period begins. You can lower your deposit limit at any time, and the change takes effect immediately. If you wish to increase your deposit limit, the new limit will only take effect after a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period, giving you time to reconsider. Deposit limits are configured in your account settings under "Responsible Gaming."

Session Time Limits

Decide how long you want to play in a single session, and dew212 will automatically log you out when your time is up. You can set session time limits of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours. This tool is particularly useful if you find that gaming sessions stretch longer than you intended. Once logged out, you can log back in and start a fresh session, but the automatic timer serves as a reality check to help you pause and evaluate whether you want to continue playing. Configure session time limits in your account settings under "Responsible Gaming."

Reality Check Reminders

Enable pop-up notifications that remind you how long you have been playing and give you the option to log out or continue. You can set reality checks to appear every 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes. Each reminder shows your current session duration, your total wagered amount during the session, and your current account balance. This feature is designed to combat "time distortion" — the tendency to lose track of time when absorbed in gameplay. Reality check reminders are enabled in your account settings under "Responsible Gaming."

Activity & Spend Tracking

Review detailed reports of your gambling activity, including total deposits, total withdrawals, total wagered, and net profit/loss over the past 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months. Understanding your patterns is the first step toward identifying whether your gambling is within healthy limits. Access your activity reports by navigating to "Account History" and selecting "Responsible Gaming Report." If the numbers concern you, consider setting deposit limits or taking a cooling-off period.

External Support Organisations

While dew212 provides tools to help you control your gambling, we recognise that some players may benefit from professional counselling or peer support. If you feel that gambling is negatively affecting your mental health, relationships, or finances, we encourage you to reach out to one of the following trusted organisations:

  • Gamblers Anonymous Indonesia: A fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strength, and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others recover from compulsive gambling. Meetings are held in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali. Information available online.
  • Indonesia Mental Health Hotline (Sejiwa): Provides confidential telephone counselling for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including gambling addiction. Available in Bahasa Indonesia.

Tips for Safe, Balanced Gambling

Even if you do not believe you have a gambling problem, following these practical tips can help ensure that gambling remains a form of entertainment rather than a source of stress:

  • Set a budget before you start playing and stick to it. Treat gambling funds as entertainment spending, like a night out or a concert ticket — money you can afford to lose.
  • Never gamble with money earmarked for essentials like rent, utilities, groceries, or debt repayment. If you find yourself dipping into funds meant for daily living, this is a warning sign.
  • Avoid chasing losses. If you lose your budgeted amount, walk away. Trying to win back losses by betting more is a common path to problem gambling.
  • Set time limits for your gaming sessions and use dew212's reality-check reminders to stay aware of how long you have been playing.
  • Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen, go for a walk, or do something else you enjoy. This helps prevent gambling from becoming an all-consuming activity.
  • Do not gamble when you are upset, stressed, depressed, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Emotional decision-making leads to poor judgment and impulsive bets.
  • Balance gambling with other activities. If gambling is your only hobby or your primary social activity, consider diversifying your leisure time.
  • Talk to someone you trust about your gambling. Keeping it a secret can be a sign that you feel ashamed or that it is becoming a problem. Open conversation helps maintain perspective.

Responsible gambling is about staying in control, knowing your limits, and keeping gambling fun. If you ever feel that gambling is no longer fun or that you are losing control, use the tools on this page or reach out to our support team. We are here to help, not to judge.
